sweet, innocent but not naive, sarcastic, looking for something
loyal, intelligent, committed, eighteen, single and not interested
emily is very guarded most of the time, she never really lets you know what's on her mind. she day dreams at the wrong times and falls for the wrong people and hasn't even really had her first boyfriend. she's not naive though, she knows what sex is and has had her first kiss. but she's completely innocent in every way and refuses to get caught up in sexual innuendos. she's sacarcastic and fun-loving and great to be around, but she's not much of a party girl. she enjoys movie nights and eating pizza, and reading in her spare time. she's a friend, probably the best friend anyone could ever have but she's usually always just the friend.
so, for her major plot i was thinking maybe someone could capture her heart - over a long time though, so it'd have to be somebody persistent and charming. he'd ask her on dates constantly, she'd refuse before finally one day she's all "if i go on one date with you will you leave me alone." so, the date is awkward at first, let's say before the tension eases and both end up having a really great time. he asks for another date at the end of it and she declines it though later she has second thoughts about declining it. for awhile they're really good friends, and then eventually they end up having a couple more dates and actually end up dating for a little bit. but he breaks her heart by sleeping/kissing another girl and she falls apart for a few weeks. i'd need someone (a childhood best friend?) to be there for her when this happens. he'd protect her from this guy and tell him to back off, without emily being aware of it..ect. eventually, emily would wonder why the boy hasn't been coming around - she'd feel like she meant nothing to him and would need her friends even more. one night, the boy would come around trying to apologize to her for what he did. i don't know how she'd respond, but she'd probably push him away. and they could either end up together or not. all i know is i want the plot to take awhile. annnd, i think it might be interesting. =)
other then the boy and the best friend, she'll need friends from her own clique. and maybe a a rivalry, a girl could be jealous of the fact that she has a boy chasing after her. ( maybe the girl likes the boy? but isn't going to admit it? ) they could also be competitive in school work and crud like that. i don't know, it'd be fun. of course, emily would need other things like friends, maybe ex's though only one or two. she's well known, and very sociable but it isn't very often she runs with the bad crowd. sooo plot away!
