You know that feeling? That feeling of being completely and utterly alone? Well this year, two boarding schools are being opened for those kids that have had to live with those feelings, constantly. The schools are called Riverbend and Rockford Academy. They like sibling schools. They were opened by a brother and a sister team, and for the same reason: a school, a getaway, for teen girls and guys that were raped, sexually abused, or molested as kids. The goal of the schools is to offer counseling and a stable environment for those kids.
But still, the whole thing is kind of experimental. Neither principal is sure how the situation will turn out--a huge group of kids, all raped, sexually abused, or molested at one time, together. The schools have been renovated, the dorms have been built, and the grand opening has been organized. The principals already have mountains of applications on their desk, and a guarantee for a large freshman class. Now all they have left to do is officially open their doors, and wait for the kids to come, wait to see how to year begins.
