that pretty much explains it folks. the rules are never something someone is looking forward to reading - but we gotta have them. without these the site can sometimes get very disorderly. so just sit back and read through these really quick and we shouldn't have any problems.

we don't really care how you sign up as long as your username doesn't have a bunch of numbers in it. mainly because that looks distasteful even if you can change your member name. when filling out the application, take a few moments to make your charrie unique. and if you're having troubles, don't hesitate to ask someone for ideas! we don't bite, at least.. i hope we don't. but please, none of us staff like denying an application, so spend some time on it! but don't spend so much time on it that it ends up getting denied for taking three or more weeks. when making a character, keep in mind the ratio of boys and girls. so make sure to keep that even; at least for every two girls that you make, make one boy. its pretty simple to understand, so please.. just do it. as soon as your accepted change your name to your charries first middle and last in all lower case - just looks better that way. thanks!

if you plan on joining the site, great! we are happy to have as many members as we can possibly get. but do not join the site and then ditch. as much as i hate inactivity, i also hate when members join and take three weeks to just get an app up. if you don't want to join the site, then don't. also, i expect there to be times when you lose your muse - lame excuse but we all use it sometimes or you're just not feeling good. that's fine. make sure to post a thread in the proper board giving us a warning that you're going to be gone for awhile or heck, even PM an admin telling them you'll be away. but remember when i say active, i don't just mean that you log in a few times a week. it means that you post a few times a week even if it's just ooc. if you aren't active and you didn't post warning us of your absence, when an activity check comes around we're not gonna feel sorry for deleting you account.

bottom line is that in real life there is sex, drugs, and violence. so expect a lot of those same things to happen here. we don't like to limit our members, as far as the rating goes it's R. so take that into consideration before joining. for those members who have mature content in their threads make sure you let others know with a rating. but on the same note, don't spend time telling every raunchy sex detail. be respectful to the other members you are role playing with. along with that, be realistic. i don't wanna see ten pregnant girls running around or a bunch of guys with violent drug addictions - it just doesn't work. so don't do it. make sure to contact an admin before putting your character through anything life-changing.

there is no post limit - but i do not want to see one liners, two liners, three liners, ect. i hate replying to a thread that gives me nothing to respond to. take time on your post - not too much time of course but please, don't make other people get frustrated and not want to rp anymore. at least post a good paragraph, this is supposed to be fun, right? another thing, when posting make sure to post in third person! don't mix the tenses and please, please don't write in first person. it makes things confusing. write in third and you'll be safe. also, take the time to add coding, graphics, or colors to your font - although it is not needed, it just makes things look better.

graphics must not stretch the page! if they do, an admin or one of the other staff members will remove them without warning. it makes the board look sloppy and we do not want that. i don't really care how big your signature is or your avatar (even though i think it can only be 100x100) as long as they don't stretch the page. that is my biggest issue with graphics. also, make sure not to have nude pictures of your character - the site may be rated R but nobody wants to see that.

the main thing is just have fun with it! yes, we are an intermediate site but we accept everyone and want everyone to have a fun time while they are a member here. if you have any questions, or problems PM me or one of the other staff members and we'll be sure to help you with it.
